I&#039;ve long felt the film of ‘Judgment at Nuremberg’ - which is far removed from the shallow schmaltz of US films about the Nazis&#039; crimes ever since - should be mandatory viewing for teenage students. 
‘Nuremberg’ indicts humanity, and does so pretty much singlehandedly; as few other works dare to do.
Its author Abby Mann understood Disney&#039;s sentiment deeply. 
(Indeed, Mann happened to later create ‘Kojak’ in the process of dramatizing a notorious injustice.)
