I had this discussion with Martin Boase.
I loved the posters but Martin said they shouldn’t be posters because that was a medium that everyone was exposed to without being asked.
Martin said they should have been press ads, where you voluntarily buy the publication and accept the editor’s discretion over content.
I think he’s right.
I still love the ads, but they should have been press ads.
My right to like bad taste should not over-ride someone else’s right not to like it
