When i started as copywriter, i used to read a lot of newspaper editorials. I would bring a bunch of newspapers to the office. My boss, superb copywriter and marketing professional, would warn me that all this serious reading won’t help. I still remember when he had told me to buy Harry Potter and start reading it. “People are already leading gloomy lives,” he would say. “At least, your writing should give them some relief.”
