Recently I saw on the streets of Yorkshire an advert run by cancer Research “OBESITY is a cause of cancer”. And it really annoyed me. Because it’s like a lots of things this days. You have a mental problem… here you go, get a magic pill – instead of an honest conversation. You have cancer… oh yeah it’s because you are obese – instead of saying you need to exercise and eat unprocessed food. Some people probably read it as… great I can eat and drink whatever I want and I won’t get cancer.
