So is hurting feelings or questioning harshly someone’s words or behaviour. If we don’t retain the right to do that we can’t develop rigorous thought and make good collective decisions. Of course I’m anti-racist and for the rights (and duties) of all but, personally, I’m concerned by the concept of ‘hate speech’ and the idea that someone’s feelings are enough to trigger police action.
