While standing next to me, I overheard French journalists on their phones saying, &quot;Yeah, it&#039;s Paris, yeah, it&#039;s confirmed.&quot;

I thought to myself, &quot;Well les Rosbeef, it seems like we, the French, are going to win this now, aren&#039;t we?&quot; — of course, I had this thought in my head and in French because my English skills were basic back in the day.

However, when I watched the clip for London, my smirky smile disappeared. At that time, I was 17 years old, and I still remember the message that struck me: LEGACY. It truly stood out among all the clips, even more so than our fancy Luc Besson clip, which left a bitter taste in my mouth.

In that moment, I genuinely felt happy for London&#039;s victory.
