There was a bloke everyone would refer to as Milhouse. So one day, aunty bumps into him on the shop floor and says “Oh, sorry Milhouse.”
The bloke gets really pissy about it and begins to avoid her all the time. Turns out, Milhouse wasn’t his name, but rather everyone thought he looked like Milhouse from The Simpsons (a reference my aunty didn’t get). Needless to say, he didn’t much appreciate the comparison and aunty was the only one who, unknowingly, dared say it to his face.
