Literally translates to kin (gold) and tsugi (next).

A phrase thar has stuck with me long after my fourteen years living in Japan ended is:

Saru mo ki kara ochiru.

Translates literally to “even monkeys can fall from trees”, meaning even experts can sometimes stuff up.
