My wife is Italian (calm down), so I’ve learned a lot of things about Italian life and culture through her. I can then relate these stories and experiences with a better understanding than I would have if she weren’t Italian (she’s Italian, by the way). In addition, new readers to the blog/books may not know that Dave’s wife is Chinese so it would be necessary to repeat that information for their benefit.
