I truly miss the sketch shows I grew up on in the 90’s and 00’s: Mary Whitehouse Experience, The Fast Show etc. we used parody them at school and university… and I think taking off an accent is perfectly is one of the funniest things comedians, or anyone can do, there is rarely anything malicious in impersonating an accent
